Past, present, and future Coastal Cleanup Volunteers, please join us on June 6th for a morning of beach cleaning and marine debris removal as part of the annual Anchorage Coastal Cleanup. Last year 75 volunteers helped pick up 8,254 pieces of trash weighing in at 480 lbs. from Anchorage’s beaches. This year, let’s get it all!

How to get involved:

Arrive at Lyn Ary Park or Point Woronzof at 10am on Saturday, June 6th. Wear clothes that can get a little dirty, boots, and work gloves. We will have extra work gloves along with trash bags and snacks for you! The Coastal Cleanup will run from 10am until noon. Children and bicyclists are welcome. Don’t forget to invite your friends on Facebook!
