Lancee Whetman

Fisheries Program Manager

Lancee Whetman is an attorney, legal researcher, and writer excited to join AMCC in supporting Alaska’s coastal communities and sustainable fisheries. She earned her J.D. from Vermont Law and Graduate School, where she focused on environmental law and public policy.

While originally from Utah, Lancee now calls Alaska home. She has served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Alaska Superior Court in both Palmer and Dillingham. Living and working in Western Alaska gave her a deep appreciation for the communities, cultures, and livelihoods sustained by Alaska’s fisheries. Lancee enjoys spending her free time reading, two-stepping, hiking with her dog, Howdy, writing poetry, and learning to fly fish.
