Amanda Piatt
Operations Manager
Growing up in a family whose summers revolved around Bristol Bay salmon fishing, Amanda learned early on about the rewards and sacrifices that come with making a living on the water. Over time, those experiences shaped her understanding of the role fisheries play in Alaska families and communities, a connection that eventually led her to AMCC. After supporting the organization as a contractor for seven years, she formally joined the team as Operations Manager in 2026.
Amanda brings more than 15 years of experience in business management and more than a decade of experience working with Alaska nonprofits. She spent eight years running her own communications and fundraising consulting business while also managing the administrative side of her family's construction and commercial fishing operations.
Amanda lives in Girdwood, Alaska, with her husband. Outside of work, she delights in evening dog walks through their neighborhood meadow, searching for the perfect hot sauce, and finding creative excuses to visit their adult son in Hawaii.
