North Pacific Fisheries Management Council Meets in Seattle this Week

The North Pacific Fisheries Management Council is meeting this week in Seattle. Items on the agenda include halibut bycatch in the Gulf of Alaska and king salmon bycatch in trawl fisheries in the Gulf. To find out more about what's on the agenda visit this link. The Council is scheduled to take up halibut bycatch on the morning of Thursday, February 2nd.

Deadline Tuesday, January 24th! 

An initial review of potential reductions in allowable levels of halibut bycatch in the Gulf of Alaska is on agenda for the upcoming North Pacific Fishery Management Council meeting in Seattle.
