Summer 2010 Communications Internship Opportunity
AMCC is currently seeking applications for a 12-week communications internship. The intern will help develop and implement communications tools to increase awareness of AMCC with our members, the public, and the media. The communications tools include photo, video, and audio materials for our website and other publications as well as blogging and social-networking. We seek applicants with a background in communications, journalism, or related fields as well as experience with the communications tools listed above, strong writing skills, and technological prowess. This is a paid internship funded and administered by the Alaska Conservation Foundation.

AMCC will consider other internship opportunties where the student has outside funding or wishes to engage in an unpaid internship for college credit. Specfic areas for internships may include support for our programs (scientific research, policy analysis, grassroots outreach, GIS mapping), communications, membership, or development (grants research and writing).
