Come on down 4th Avenue and in Town Square for the annual Solstice Festival during the sunniest weekend of the year! From noon to midnight, you can enjoy a free live concert and all kinds of live entertainment (including Race City Roller Derby Girls!). Activities abound for adults and children alike. Best of all, come check out the earth expo, where you can “see what Alaskans are learning about energy, conservation practices, water ways and things you can do to make a difference.” Don’t forget to stop by AMCC’S booth from noon to 7 pm!
