The Council has five scheduled meetings a year, usually 3 in Anchorage, one in a fishing community in Alaska, and one in either Portland or Seattle.  The AP (Advisory Panel) and the SSC (Science and Statistical Committee) (both advisory groups to the Council) usually begin on the Monday of the Council week, and use the same Agenda.  The Council then begins it's meeting on Wednesday, in order to hear recommendations from the AP and SSC.
