The Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival is Alaska's largest wildlife viewing festival. Come join in the celebration of spring and the more than 130 species of birds that migrate to Kachemak Bay each year.

This year's theme is Partners Across the Pacific: Common Waters, Uncommon Birds. Enjoy presentations on birding both around the globe and here in our own back yard. As always, expert speakers, naturalists, and guides will share their extensive wealth of birding knowledge as they lead you through many field events, workshops, presentations, and boat, bus, and kayak tours being offered this year. There is also a great lineup of evening entertainment for all ages.

This is a family event for all levels of birding experience!
